GAME関係者各位：
すでにご案内しておりますように、
気象集誌GAME特別号の原稿締切日（１月３１日）が
迫っております。
今回は、GAME-IOPを中心とする観測データによる研究の論文は
もちろん期待しておりますが、これに関わらず、
広い意味でGAMEの目的に関連する研究なら
観測的研究、データ解析、モデル研究などに関わらず、
広く募集しております。
現在のところ、外国からの投稿が非常に多い割に
日本人研究者による投稿が、非常に少ない状態です。
すでに論文として、かなりのかたちができており、
若干の遅れなら投稿できるかたちのものは、できるだけ受理したいと
考えております。
GAMEの各コンポーネントの代表の方々は、
それぞれの活動から、できるだけ論文が出るよう、投稿を促していただきたいと思います。
締め切りにどうしても間に合わないが、ぜひ投稿したいという方は、
私または下記の編集委員に、まず連絡を取っていただければ幸いです。

Call for papers
Special issue on GAME project in the Journal of the Meteorological
Society
of Japan
The Japan National Committee for GAME (GEWEX Asian Monsoon Experiment)
in
collaboration with the Meteorological Society of Japan plans to publish
a
special edition of the Journal of the Meteorological Society of Japan
(JMSJ)
on the scientific results of GAME project in the February issue of
2001
(Vol. 79, No. 1B). The main emphasis of this special issue will be;
the scientific results based on the observation data obtained through
GAME
project as well as the scientific results related to the GAME project
through data analysis and/or numerical modeling. We will accept both
full
paper and short note and correspondence, so long as the content is
original.
The dead line of receiving the manuscript is 31 January 2000, but
earlier
submittion will be highly appreciated. For further detail please refer
to
the information for contribution listed in the JMSJ. The submitted
manuscript is subject to usual review/revision process and the
Editorial
Board of JMSJ reserves the right of decision for its acceptability.
Finally, we inform you that this is our first plan for the scientific
results of GAME and some additional special issues will be planned
afterwards.
