Dear Colleagues
Greetings to all of you from Seoul, Korea! KoFlux committee will host ＾
Biosphere-Atmosphere Interactions￣ Symposium for one to two day(s) during
the VIII International Congress of Ecology (INTECOL;
http://www.seoulintecol.org/) in Seoul, Korea during 11-19 August 2002.
There will be numerous other symposia and workshops. Our symposium will
provide an excellent opportunity to exchange the advanced ideas and
experiences on Biosphere-Atmosphere Interactions to improve our
understanding on energy, water and carbon cycle in terrestrial ecosystems,
and to discuss and review application studies of comprehensive experimental
data and modeling. Several keynote speakers will be invited for this
special symposium. We ask a special favor of colleagues particularly from
AsiaFlux, CEOP and GAME community to attend this symposium. Please come and
meet our old friends along with the ecological communities from all over
the world during the INTECOL in Seoul this summer.
If you want to attend this symposium in INTECOL, please send us an e-mail
(wonsik-kim@yonsei.ac.kr) including name, your specialty, affiliation,
country, and presentation title and type until 9 March, 2002 because we
will arrange the session (invited, contributed oral and poster) in the symposium.
Please pay attention to the current abstract deadline (May 15, 2002:
http://www.seoulintecol.org/17call_for_Proposals01.htm) and make sure to
attach the symposium title (Biosphere-Atmosphere Interactions Symposium)
under your presentation title of your abstract.
