第2回モンスーンシステム解明のための領域気候数値モデルに関する
ワークショップの開催案内と講演発表募集について
主 催：地球フロンティア研究システム,GAME国際科学パネル
開催日時：2003年3月4日（火）から6日（木）
開催場所：地球フロンティア研究システム 交流棟2F 三好記念講堂
ワークショップの主旨:
領域気候数値モデルはモンスーンのような領域スケールの気候システムの
解明に対し有効な道具の1つとして考えられています．領域気候モデルは全
球大気気候モデル(GCM)と比べて積雲対流パラメタリゼーションに依存しな
い雲解像シミュレーションが比較的容易であることなどの利点があります．
しかし、領域気候数値モデルの物理過程や側面境界条件など解決困難な問題
も依然として多く残されています．
領域気候モデルおけるこれらの問題点を明らかにし，将来的な発展に対す
る方向性を議論するとともに，モンスーンなど気候システムへの応用につい
ての意見交換を行うことを目的として，GAME-Phase2では「モンスーンシス
テム解明のための領域気候数値モデルに関するワークショップ」を以下の日
程で開催いたします。なお，2001年10月にハワイのInternational Pacific
Research Center(IPRC)で開催された「第1回領域気候モデルワークショップ」
を継承する形を取るため，ワークショップの名称に「第２回」を冠します．
講演発表募集:
以下のテーマで講演発表の募集をいたします。要旨を英文で600 words程
度にまとめ，下記のワークショップ実行委員宛てに送付して下さい。要旨集
は当日配布いたします．発表形式は口頭発表とポスター発表で行う予定です。
英文要旨を郵送の際にご希望の発表形式をお知らせください。口頭発表では
PCプロジェクターとOHPが使用できます。なお、口頭発表の希望者が多い場合
はポスター発表に変更していただく場合もありますので予めご了承ください。
