Proposed Case 4: Daytime convective development over land: an idealized
case based on TRMM-LBA observations.
The purpose of this case is to investigate the development of the daytime convective boundary layer over land and the transition from shallow to deep convection.

This just to let you know that after hearing from some of you and
exchanges with Chris Bretherton (WG1), George Tselioudis (WG3), Steve
Krueger, and some ARM folks, I decided to call WG4 meeting in October
in Omni Hotel in Broomfield, Colorado. My plan is to have WG4 meeting
from Tuesday October 28 to Thursday October 30, 2003.
Having a few other GCSS WGs and two ARM WGs at one place would be
beneficial. For your information, ARM cloud modeling WG meeting will
be Oct 27-29 (Mon-Wed) and the ARM cloud properties WG meeting will
be Oct 28-30 (Tue-Thur). GCSS WG3 will meet Monday-Wednesday and WG1
Wednesday-Friday. Chris Bretherton suggests to meet with us on Wednesday
regarding our LBA case (Case 4)。
