To study the energy and water cycle processes over the Tibetan Plateau, considering the vast area and sparse ground observation stations, using of satellite remote sensing is indispensable. In turn, intensive field observation and processes studies serve as sources of ground-truth information. To develop and validate satellite-based retrieval method is one of the major objectives of GAME-Tibet.
